We have organized post-conference tours for all participants. For those interested in prolonging their stay, there is an abundance of destinations to choose from. What's your preference? Are you a nature-lover or an urbanite? Do you prefer shopping and good food, or hiking in the forest? Maybe you will opt for a dream trip to a resort hotel. The choice is yours, find something that's convenient for you and just enjoy the change of scenery.

Québec City

Spend two days and one night of fun and discovery in the only fortified city in North America. This package is available from Montréal and is conducted by an English and French speaking tour guide.

Day 1: Montréal - Québec City

Your guide will greet you at Centre Mont-Royal and you will then be transferred to Québec City by motor coach with a stop for lunch. Lunch is at your leisure. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour of the most European city on the continent. Visit Grande-Allée Street, the Citadelle, the Château Frontenac and Dufferin Terrace overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River and Place Royale. At the end of the afternoon, you will check-in to your hotel. The evening and dinner are at your leisure.

Day 2: Québec City - Montréal

After breakfast, embark on a one-hour cruise of the St. Lawrence River. Discover the bucolic charm of Île d'Orléans; admire Montmorency Falls, the highest waterfalls in Eastern Canada; view the port installations on both shores of the St. Lawrence and cruise beneath the prestigious Château Frontenac perched atop Cap Diamant, with the majestic Laurentian Mountains in the background. Afterwards, the motor coach will take you back to Montréal, with a stop for lunch at a cabane à sucre, a sugar shack. You will arrive at Centre Mont-Royal at the end of the day.

City of Ottawa

Come and discover Canada's Capital: Ottawa! Nestled on the banks of the Ottawa and Rideau Rivers, approximately 200 kilometres west of Montreal and 400 kilometres northeast of Toronto, Ottawa is rich in culture and heritage. Ottawa is best known as Canada's capital, but it is also a leader in the new economy and its residents enjoy an enviable quality of life. Since its foundation in 1826, Ottawa has seen a number of changes on the municipal government front and has evolved with the times.

During the month of May, it hosts the largest tulip festival in the world. This package is available from Montréal and is conducted by an English and French speaking tour guide.

Day 1: Montréal - Ottawa

Your guide will greet you at Centre Mont-Royal and you will then be transferred to Ottawa by motor coach with a stop for lunch. Lunch is at your leisure. Your visit will begin with a tour of Ottawa, including the Canadian Parliament buildings, the Prime Minister's official residence on Sussex Drive, the great national museums, Confederation Square and the Rideau Canal. At the end of the afternoon, you will check in to your hotel for the night. The evening and dinner are at your leisure.

Day 2: Ottawa - Montréal

After breakfast, the day is entirely at your leisure. So how about taking this time to enjoy the Tulip Festival: 300,000 tulips in full bloom! You could also visit the Museum of Civilization in Hull, directly opposite Parliament Hill.

At the end of the day, your guide will meet you and you will be transferred back to Montréal by motor coach.

Majestically situated on the Saguenay fjord and the St. Lawrence River, it is the perfect spot to view the river's whales. Discover these famous sea mammals on a three-hour whale-watching cruise. At the end of the afternoon, you will be transferred to Pointe-au-Pic where you will check in at the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu for the night. The evening and dinner are at your leisure.

Day 4: Québec City - Montréal

After breakfast, you will have free time to enjoy your last day in charming Québec City. Later on, you will meet your tour leader and be transferred back to Montréal by motor coach. Along the way, there will be a stop for lunch at a cabane à sucre, a sugar shack. You will arrive at Centre Mont-Royal at the end of the day.

Thousand Islands, Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Kingston

This package, available from Montréal and conducted by an English and French speaking tour guide, includes the visit of the Thousand Islands in the St.Lawrence River, Toronto, capital of Ontario, Niagara Falls and the military city of Kingston.

Located on Lake Ontario, Toronto is a city packed with attractions. The theatre scene is rivaled only by London and New York, and over 5000 restaurants offer a glimpse of the diversity of this city.

Day 1: Montréal - Thousand Island - Toronto

In the morning, meet your tour guide at Centre Mont-Royal. You will then be transferred by motor coach to Toronto. Your trip begins with a stop in the Thousand Islands area where you will board a one-hour long cruise on the St. Lawrence and discover the natural beauty of the region, the Canadian and American sides of the river, travel down the Seaway channel and pass under both the Canadian and American spans of the 1000 Islands International Bridge. Lunch is at your leisure. Continue towards Toronto where you will check-in at your hotel for the night. The evening and dinner are at your leisure.

Day 2: Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls

After breakfast, with your tour guide, enjoy a panoramic city tour of Canada's most populous city. Visit Queen's Park, the center of the Provincial Government for Ontario; Yonge Street, the longest street in the world; Harbourfront and, as an option, the CN Tower ($), the world's highest freestanding structure. Lunch is at your leisure. In the afternoon, you will be on your way towards Niagara Falls with a stop at the charming village of Niagara-on-the-Lake to discover its quaint charm and Victorian architecture. At the end of the afternoon, you will check-in at your Niagara Falls hotel for two nights. The evening and dinner are at your leisure.

Day 3: Niagara Falls

After breakfast, your Niagara adventure begins with a boat ride aboard the Maid of the Mist. Enjoy spectacular views of the American Falls and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Lunch and the afternoon are at your leisure. You can screen a movie relating the history and myths of the Niagara Falls on the IMAX Theatre's giant screen or visit the acclaimed Marineland (optional activities). In the evening stroll along the illuminated falls, test your luck at the casino or window-shop. Dinner and evening are at your leisure.

Day 4: Niagara Falls - Kingston - Montréal

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Montréal by motor coach, with a stop to visit Kingston's historic Fort Henry. Fort Henry is both a museum and a spectacular historic site. Inside the fortification's wooden gates you will be surrounded by 19th century military life. Lunch is at your leisure, after which your guide will take you on an orientation tour of Kingston, a city with a strong military tradition. You will arrive at Centre Mont-Royal at the end of the day.

Mont Tremblant

Day 1: Montréal - Mont Tremblant

Your tour leader will greet you at Centre Mont-Royal and you will be transferred by motorcoach to the Mont Tremblant Station. At the end of the afternoon, you will check-in at your hotel, Les Suites Tremblant. The evening and dinner are at your leisure to stroll around the multiple bars, restaurants, shops, cinemas and discotheques that the station has to offer.

Day 2: Mont Tremblant

Breakfast is at your leisure. Use this day to experience some of the activities Mont Tremblant has to offer! Your Adventure passport will give you access to the Gondola for a ride up and down the mountain and four of the following activities: one round on the mini-golf "Le Petit Géant", bike rental (1:30), in-Line skates or scooter rental (2 hours, including protective gear), access to the Beach & Tennis Club, access to the Aquaclub "La Source". Lunch and dinner are at leisure.

Day 3: Mont Tremblant - Montréal

Breakfast is at your leisure. The entire day is at your leisure to enjoy the scenery and activities. Some suggestions: enjoy the Scandinavian Baths, which include: Finnish sauna, Norwegian steam bath, outdoor Jacuzzi, Swedish massage, swimming in the river, Nordic waterfall, and, if the season is right, you might even see some deer. Lunch is at your leisure. At the end of the afternoon, meet with your tour leader to be transferred back to Montréal by motorcoach, arriving at Centre Mont-Royal by the end of the day.
