DLR is the Aerospace Research Center as well as the Space Agency of Germany. The German Space Operations Center (GSOC) near Munich is DLR's center for the operation of scientific and commercial spacecraft. GSOC currently operates the scientific satellites BIRD, CHAMP and GRACE and prepares the ISS-Columbus and TerraSAR-X mission operations which will be displayed at this exhibit.
